nowHIRE Offers Increased Functionality of ATS through eScreen Integration

Pep Boys demonstrates functionality of seamless nowHIRE and eScreen system integration

Detroit, Mich. - March 10, 2008 - nowHIRE.com, a premier provider of applicant tracking and hiring management systems, announced increased functionality of its applicant tracking system (ATS) through a successful integration of eScreen's drug screen system. Pep Boys, the nation's leading automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, is the first customer to leverage the integration.

"eScreen's products compliment nowHIRE's continued dedication to offer our customers a configurable, efficient and easy-to-use applicant tracking system," said Joseph N. Impastato II, nowHIRE's president and founder. "This latest integration offers our customers increased functionality and a seamless, highly accurate drug screen service."

eScreen offers employers 15-minute negative drug test results nationwide, delivered electronically to nowHIRE's ATS. The drug testing is available through eScreen's network of over 1,800 occupational health providers that have been equipped with the eScreen drugs of abuse screening system powered by eScreen123. The automated process is managed by the employer through the nowHIRE ATS.

When Pep Boys accesses the nowHIRE ATS to indicate that an applicant has accepted a position with the company, the employer is automatically directed to eScreen's scheduling system. Once the employer selects a collection / testing site, a barcoded ePassport™ is provided to the applicant, which includes a map to the collection site. Afterwards, the employer is automatically re-directed to the nowHIRE system to submit the request.

"The eScreen process eliminates the need for a Chain of Custody form, eliminating paper waste and reducing costs. The integration has allowed Pep Boys to easily and quickly request the necessary drug screening and automatically receive results through the system. Negative drug test results are available in the system in about 15 minutes," said Karen Bryson, director of talent management at Pep Boys. "Our continued work with nowHIRE has allowed us to continue to streamline our hiring process, while saving time and money."
